Produced by Steve Albini (who produced Nirvana's "In Utero"), "Suitcase" was recorded at Studio Two and Abbey Road studios in the band's hometown of London (where Gavin Rossdale can still walk the streets virtually unrecognized) and features 13 more grunge-ridden, driving power-rock songs.
The grinding first single, "Swallowed," entered Billboard's Modern Rock chart at No. 6, making it the highest debut in history, and the video is already in heavy rotation on MTV.
