P.O.D. will launch their first tour in support of their latest album, Testify, on April 20th in Philadelphia. The small, month-long trek, dubbed the Warriors Tour 2 -- the follow-up to the band's equally intimate 1998 stint -- will wrap May 21st in Seattle.

In November, P.O.D. hit the road with fellow hard rockers Staind -- who they shared the stage with for 2000's Return of Rock tour -- giving fans a taste of their new material. The group also performed on New Year's Eve for ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live, broadcast from New York's Times Square.

Produced by Glen Ballard (Dave Matthews Band, Aerosmith), Testify features guest appearances by Samoan rap group the Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. and Hasidic reggae newcomer Matisyahu. The album debuted at Number Nine, and the video for the first single, "Goodbye for Now," has claimed the top spot on MTV's Total Request Live.

Of the choice of album title for Testify, frontman Sonny Sandoval told Rolling Stone, "It's a word we kept using in the studio . . . We're just testifying about life, the things we believe in, a better tomorrow."

For the Warriors Tour 2, P.O.D. will be joined by the Chariot (featuring Norma Jean's Josh Scogin) and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, fronted by Underoath's Dallas Taylor.
