The ever-growing music, camping and arts festival, which takes place June 21-23 in Manchester, Tenn., sold out in less than three weeks. According to New Orleans-based promoters Superfly Productions, live music fanatics purchased all 60,000 tickets directly through the Internet.
Having acquired space beyond the original 500 acres of farm land and an update of their permits, organizers are now set to release a limited number of additional tickets at Bonnaroo.com, though they have not specified how many.
"We were completely amazed with the initial response," Superfly's Rich Goodstone told Rolling Stone. "We are expecting the new allotment of tickets to sell out extremely fast. We encourage anyone who would like to attend to purchase them immediately. There will be absolutely no tickets sold at the door."
Tickets go on sale this May 18th at noon (EST).
Camping (which organizers indicate will coexist with parking) will be open to ticket holders beginning Thursday, June 20th at noon.
