Pearl Jam will release their seventh studio album, Riot Act, on November 12th. The record, which was produced by Pearl Jam with Adam Kasper and Brendan O'Brien, is the band's first collection of new material since 2000's Binaural.

Riot Act's first single, "I Am Mine," will be released to radio next Wednesday and as a commercial single on October 8th, with the non-album track "Down" as the B-side.

Pearl Jam have hardly been idle since Binaural's release. In the spring of 2000, the band launched a world tour, which was documented in the authorized bootleg series, a collection of more than seventy two-CD live sets, one from each date on the tour.

Guitarist Stone Gossard has also been busy with his side project, Brad, which released its third album, Welcome to Discovery Park, last month. After Brad's tour wraps in November, Pearl Jam plan to begin setting dates for a world tour in 2003.
