Sean "Puffy" Combs and Heavy D have been found negligent in a celebrity basketball game| which took place back in 1991 and left nine fans dead and dozens more injured.

New York's Court of Claims' Judge Louis Benza ruled on Monday that the responsibility for overbooking the event lay 50% on the rapper/ promoters Puffy and Heavy, and 50% on the part of the venue's sponsor, the City University of New York.

Since NY's Claims' Court only rules on cases against the state, Puffy and Heavy have not been sentenced with any penalties, but, after the ruling, you can expect a bevy of civil suits to be levied against the pair that turned the gym's post-capacity audience into a stampede and then neglected to provide adequate security and/ or crowd control. - Werner
