Westerberg Returns on Vagrant

Former Replacement to deliver double-disc set in April

After parting ways with Capitol Records two years ago, former Replacements frontman Paul Westerberg has signed with indie label Vagrant Records, home to such Replacements disciples as the Get Up Kids and Saves the Day.

Westerberg will release a double-CD set on April 23rd. the first disc is the solo album Stereo and the second album is Mono, an effort by his side project, Grandpaboy.

Westerberg's last effort was 1998's critically acclaimed but commercially unsuccessful Suicaine Gratification. Most recently, he contributed a cover of the Beatles' "Nowhere Man" to the to the new Sean Penn movie I Am Sam.
