(LONDON) - English singer/keyboard player Paul Carrack -- the voice on hits by Mike + the Mechanics, Squeeze, and Ace -- is to follow up the European success last year of his solo album Blue Views with a new set, Beautiful World, due for pan-European release Sept. 22 on Miles Copeland's Ark 21 label through EMI. The first single, "The Way I'm Feeling Tonight," written by Carrack and veteran tunesmith Graham Gouldman, will be released Sept. 1.
