Biography
The Parliaments began as a doo-wop quintet in Plainfield, NJ.
Former barber George Clinton and crew -- Fuzzy Haskins, Calvin
Simon, Grady Thomas, Ray Davis -- moved to Detroit in the mid-'60s.
They landed a Motown contract, only to wind up on the bench. The
