Fueled by Ramen meet Emo's new wave. Panic! At The Disco, the Vegas quartet signed by Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz to his new Decaydance label, follow FOB's songwriting formula: scathing lyrics about slutty ex-girlfriends and the lameness of the music industry, sung by frontman Brendan Urie, who's got the sensitive-boy vocal quiver down pat. What makes Panic different (and excellent) is their use of dance-floor synths and roboto drums, which redeems the album's whininess. Sometimes the grooves sneak into traditional rockers, like the wry "London Beckoned Songs About Money Written by Machines," where Urie sings, "We're just a wet dream for the Webzines." Other times they take center stage, as on the electronic rave-up "Camisado." On all fronts, Panic pillage two pop-friendly musical trends -- Eighties keyboard nostalgia and angry-boy pop punk -- and create something new.

This album brings a lot to the table. With it’s a fun, unique, and catchy beats. I think we are looking at the band who are going to led the way into a new style of emo music. They are making a stand with their new sounds and everything else that is packed into this album. I also have to give credit to Brendan Urie (Lead Vocals), He has a really strong voice that’s blends just right with music they produce. I think that this band are with out a doubt ones to watch. It will be interesting to see what fun and unique sounds they come out with next!

No
Good?

Aye, very good.
It is just some of the lyrics that bother me.

IWSNT is pretty much Closing the Goddamned doorknob repeatedly

Who likes emo must really enjoy earing Panic! At The Disco CD's ''A Fever You Can't Sweat Out''! I personnaly like emo and this album is easy to ear 'cause you like almost all of the songs... Splitted in two parts, until Intermission is more 80's and with old beats... After Intermission we note a change in the beats and in the lyrics 'cause they're quite differents then after Intermission... A great emo CD from a great emo band!!!

A fever you can sweat out is a fantastic blend of great lyrics and voice. Full of engaging Tunes that make it that much harder to shut off. Strong lyrics that are full of not everday words. A unique style that is a hint of emo mixed with a rock and alternative beat. A record filled with every thing from lying to achohal abuse. In final state, A jaw dropping album

"Sit tight, I'm gonna need you to keep time
Come on just snap, snap, snap your fingers for me.Good, good now we're making some progress
Come on just tap, tap, tap your toes to the beat"
Brendon Urie sings on the first song on "a fever you can't sweat out". and then, your off into a world of churning riffs, two dollars words, and smart ( slightly sarcastic) story telling. "Panic! at the disco" are very unusual and very unique in their impressive debut. using words you need a dictionary for and telling wildly entertaining complex stories. if anything is wrong with "a fever...." is that it is too short. but during the bombast (of the roughly 35 minute set) it's pure bliss. "Panic" are fun, smart, and young. which is good cause hopefully we'll get to enjoy a couple more exciting fevers for years to come.

Before listening to this album, I had no faith in the "popular"
bands of today. I heard them on the radio, and started insulting
them, until about ten seconds in to the song, I realised I liked
it... I immediately went home and bought the album. At first I
liked them, but now, they are my favourite band. Its great how
you can listen to it over and over again, without skipping a track
and it still doesnt get old. A great album, they deserve the
success they have had. And I sure cant wait for the next album.

i would usually stray far away from a pop album like this but something about "A Fever..." make you want to buy it, the catchy lyrics, dance like synth keys, and the very creative bass lines make it all fit together, The singing is whiny at parts but the heavy guitar and bass mix makes up for it. the drums and the guitar is very repetitive but its fits into the genre. The album is full of very different styles and the song names are creative and quite funny like the genious "honey theres a reason these tables are numberd you just havent thought of it yet"
classic name. The Album title also fits in and is very smart. i like how they didnt just call it " Panic! At The Disco" or named it after one of there songs.
worthy of spending a spare twenty on.
