Our Lady Peace Looking For A "Reporter"

Posted Dec 04, 1997 12:00 AM

Our Lady Peace wants you ... to cover their show.|

The Toronto-based group is looking for one lucky fan to be an "online reporter" to report live from their Jan. 16 show in Ottawa, Ontario. The winner will have to hang out with the band for a full day, listen in on their conversations backstage and give other fans the inside scoop on everything Our Lady Peace.

The contest winner will fly with a friend or guardian to Ottawa, stay in a hotel for two nights (at the band's expense) and get all-access VIP passes. They'll also be able to take pictures with the band, listen in on soundcheck and more-or-less ask any questions they want. In return, the band simply asks that the winner post "road reports" to the Our Lady Peace website.

No experience is needed for this job, but you must explain to the band why, in 100 words or less, you are the right person for the challenge. Go to the website for more information, contest rules and an application form. By the way, the contest is open only to residents of Canada. (Ari Bendersky)
