On the second album of her adult career, this child-star-grown-sexy grounds her Prince-ly diva shtick in understated pop funk that breeds cheap thrills but not enough songs. There's nothing that matches the 2000 Tommy Hilfiger jingle "Like a Feather," but bright party-starters such as the lovesick "Till I Get to You" provide enough slinky, catchy R&B to rock a barbecue, or a Bud ad.
