Neurotic Outsiders To Tour?

Posted Sep 24, 1997 12:00 AM

Word has it that the Neurotic Outsiders are coming back. The band was rumored to have broken up, but according to Firedancer, the Duran Duran fan web site, they are sticking together. | The Neurotic Outsiders, composed of John Taylor, Matt Sorum and Duff McKagan from Guns 'N Roses and Sex Pistols' Steve Jones, have been invited to do a tour in Australia, according to Sorum. "We were broken up, but we got an offer to do a major tour and it sounds too good to miss," Sorum told Firedancer. The site also reported Taylor saying he is too eager for the Neurotic Outsiders to continue and not fade away into music history and that they are planning new material. However, according to a spokesman at Maverick Records, the band's label, they don't know anything about a new album, but the tour may be in fact happening. (Ari Bendersky)
