MICHAEL JACKSON and his family are throwing an invitation-only party at the Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, California, on June 18th. The event is for fans to celebrate the pop star's Monday acquittal on all counts of child molestation and conspiracy . . . ELTON JOHN and BILLIE JEAN KING will host the thirteenth annual Advanta WTT Smash Hits tennis charity event at Hershey Park in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on November 7th. Psychedelic rock disciples the CHURCH, TEENAGE FANCLUB, the SOFT BOYS and the CHILLS are among the artists featured on Rhino Records' four-disc box set, Children of the Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the Second Psychedelic Era 1976-1996, due August 30th. DESTINY'S CHILD will perform at the thirteenth annual ESPY awards at Los Angeles' Kodak Theatre on July 13th. The show, hosted by actor MATTHEW PERRY, will air July 17th on ESPN . . . LINKIN PARK guitarist BRAD DELSON, GOOD CHARLOTTE's BILLY MARTIN and Paris Hilton have designed their own pairs of Reeboks for an online auction at rbk.com/trickyourkicks.com, benefiting the Forefront Organization, a nonprofit global network of human rights defenders. ELTON JOHN has extended his contract for his "Red Piano" show at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace. The singer will perform an additional 150 shows through 2008. John's concert was scheduled to conclude after the completion of seventy-five shows over a three-year period ending in 2007 . . . AC/DC's BRIAN JOHNSON, BRAD WHITFORD of AEROSMITH, JACKYL's JESSE DUPREE and RACHEL BOLAN of SKID ROW will race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Nascar Nation, airing tonight on the Speed channel . . . EMINEM will make a rare appearance at the Atlantic City House of Blues on July 9th in New Jersey. The performance is part of a series of concerts -- including the COUNTING CROWS on July 8th and the BLUES BROTHERS featuring BUDDY GUY on July 10th -- marking the venue's grand opening . . . MOTLEY CRUE drummer TOMMY LEE makes an appearance in MISSY ELLIOTT's new video, "Lose Control." The song is the first single off her album The Cookbook, due July 5th . . . Former BYRDS member CHRIS HILLMAN will release his new CD, The Other Side, on June 21st. The album features a bluegrass version of his old band's psychedelic classic "Eight Miles High" . . . Texas guitar slinger CHARLIE SEXTON will release Cruel and Gentle Things, his first album in ten years, on September 13th . . . 50 CENT's G-Unity Foundation is offering scholarships to ten students from the rapper's native Queens, New York. BJORK penned and produced eleven songs for the soundtrack to the upcoming Japanese themed Matthew Barney film, Drawing Restraint 9. The soundtrack is due in late July . . . Superstar DJ TIESTO will launch his U.S. tour on August 20th in Los Angeles before heading to the Voodoo Music Experience festival in New Orleans on October 29th and 30th . . . BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN has announced a second set of North American tour dates, to follow the rocker's in-progress European trek. Springsteen's second leg kicks off in Ottawa, Ontario, on July 13th, wrapping up August 13th in Vancouver . . . Icelandic pop group SIGUR ROS will kick off their North American tour on September 6th in Atlanta . . . Psychedelic icon ROKY ERICKSON will join COLDPLAY, OASIS, WILCO, DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE and ARCADE FIRE at the fourth annual Austin City Limits Festival on September 23rd to 25th in Austin, Texas. The performance will be Erickson's first full concert appearance in almost twenty years . . . JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS will perform a free concert on the fourth of July in Pennsuaken, New Jersey, as part of 102.9 WMGK's Let Freedom Rock Fest. California hip-hop outfit FLIPSYDE will release their debut album, We the People, on July 12th. The rappers will also join EMINEM and 50 CENT on the European dates of this year's Anger Management tour . . . New York funk rockers the SPIN DOCTORS will release their new album Nice Talking to Me in September . . . ALL AMERICAN REJECTS will release Move Along on July 12th. Fans can pre-order the CD on the band's official Web site and receive a limited edition T-shirt . . . BOB MOULD will release his upcoming album, Body of Song, on July 26th. The indie rocker will hit the road in support of the release on September 22nd in Chapel Hill, North Carolina . . . TONY ORLANDO AND DAWN are getting back together after more than two decades apart to release the holiday-themed Tony Orlando and Dawn -- A Christmas Reunion, due October 11th . . . A thirty-two-year-old man from Huntsville, Alabama, later identified as David Ottman, was found dead on June 11th at the site of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Ottman's cause of death has not yet been determined . . .
