Nashville Pussy, Insane Clown Posse to Tour

ICP and Nashville Pussy to hit the road

Posted Nov 20, 2000 12:00 AM

Just call it "Up in Smoke, Vol. II": Nashville Pussy and Insane Clown Posse are hitting the road together in an unlikely tour of club-sized venues. Though the size of the shows will be Bud Light compared to the stadium-sized hempfest that was the summer's biggest rap package tour, the tour should promise no small amount of delightfully deplorable rock and rap.

The Tennessee hell raisers and Detroit hip-hop duo will hit nine cities, starting Dec. 2 at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom. The Pussy are still plugging their sophomore album High as Hell with new bassist Tracy Almazan in tow. As for ICP, the rapping clowns will be supporting their two new albums, Bizaar and Bizzar, the former of which has struck a chord with fans, outselling the latter by more than 3,000 copies after two weeks of release.

Nashville Pussy/ICP tour dates:

12/2: New York, NY, Hammerstein Ballroom
12/3: Scranton, PA, Scranton Cultural Center
12/5: Trenton, NJ, Sovereign Bank Arena
12/8: Fort Wayne, IN, Fort Wayne Coliseum
12/9: Grand Rapids, MI, Deltaplex
12/13: St. Paul, MN, Roy Wilkens Auditorium
12/15: Dayton, OH, Hara Arena
12/16: Chicago, IL, Aragon Ballroom
12/17: St. Louis, MO, Pageant Theater
