Mudvaye drop out of tour, Merchant hits the road and more

Mudvayne have departed from the Pledge of Allegiance Tour, which also featured Slipknot and System of a Down . . . Natalie Merchant will kick off a tour behind her upcoming album, Motherland, on October 27th in Minneapolis . . . Cypress Hill's Stoned Raiders has been pushed back to December 4th . . . Gwen Stefani and Sheryl Crow have joined the lineup for the October 11th City of Hope dinner, which raises money for cancer treatment and research . . . Sunny Day Real Estate have been recording with producer Brad Wood in Seattle for a 2002 release . . . Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay was charged with common assault and criminal damage after fighting with a photographer back in April . . . Guided by Voices frontman Robert Pollard will release Ringwork Interiors, under the group name the Circus Devils, on October 31st . . .

Widespread Panic will release a DVD, Live at Oak Mountain, tomorrow and will kick off a thirty-date tour on October 12th in Berkeley, California . . . Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour will play two acoustic shows in London on January 16th and 17th . . . Lee Ann Womack will launch a Christmas tour with the Duke Ellington Orchestra on November 29th in Sewell, New Jersey . . .
