Mos Def

The New Danger

He has branched out to stage and screen, and now Mos Def has come through with another eccentric, fuming hip-hop album. Partly recorded with his rock band Black Jack Johnson (featuring Living Colour and Bad Brains alumni), it's more texture-based than rhyme-driven, and it's built around his shadowy character the Boogie Man.
