Driver can sing pleasantly and write songs at a professional level -- sort of. But Everything has little urgency and few memorable hooks. There are a couple of rewarding moments: "Deeper Water" benefits from a crack band and attentive production, and "Fast As You Can" could almost be a Lucinda Williams outtake.
