(LOS ANGELES) - Massive Attack's album Mezzanine, set for release April 13 in the U.K. and May 12 in the U.S., will be made available in its entirety on the Internet.|

Consumers will be able to access the album at Virgin's website and via a button strategically placed on a number of other sites. The album will be gradually unveiled via a "countdown" that began Friday, when 45 seconds of the first single, "Teardrop," went up on the site.

The entire album and the video for "Teardrop" will be on the Web March 30. The RealAudio transmission of Mezzanine is not downloadable, but consumers will be able to order the album through the Virgin site, according to a label spokesman.
