Album Reviews
Give this much to "A Secret Life" producer Angelo Badalamenti: He has pretty great taste in collaborators. Having worked for years with great cult filmmaker David Lynch, he now finds himself behind the boards working with cult rock goddess Marianne Faithfull. The resulting album is full of fascinating compositions, though in some cases the songs get a bit swamped in Badalamenti's otherworldly orchestrations. Still, "A Secret Life" is well worth discovering and exploring.
