Marc Anthony has scrapped plans to release two new albums simultaneously, though both recordings should arrive in record stores within the next three months.

Anthony's salsa album, Libre, is tentatively scheduled for release in November, according to the his Web site. The album will be his first Spanish-language release in the U.S. since Contra la Corriente four years ago.

As though the singer/actor weren't plenty busy, in early January, Anthony hopes release Mended, his second English-language album and the follow-up to his self-titled breakthrough, which has been certified triple platinum.

Anthony has also placed his new single, "Tragedy," on www.marcanthonyonline.com for download. He recently returned from Rio de Janiero, where he shot a video for the song.
