Raydog arrested for suspicion of using a stolen credit card at a Macy's department store

Raymond Scott, b.k.a. Raydog of The Almighty RSO/Made Men, was arrested on Tuesday, July 1, at a Braintree, Mass. department store|. Raydog and hisfriend, Trevor Watson, were shopping at the South Shore Plaza near Boston where heattempted to charge roughly $1500 on his American Express card at Macy's.


The clerk became suspicious and called security, who, in turn, calledAmerican Express to have the card frozen and then reported a larceny toBraintree police. Raydog was arrested by three officers as he attempted toleave the store, at which time, according to Lt. Russell Jenkins, he becameconfrontational and had to be subdued with pepper spray. It was laterconfirmed that the American Express card was indeed his, but Raydog wasstill charged with assaulting a police officer, disorderly conduct, andresisting arrest. He was arraigned in Quincy District Court on Thursday.

Tim Ray, a spokesperson for Macy's, told The Boston Herald that theclerk became alarmed at the speed with which the purchases were made,the dollar value, and the men's fashion sense. RayDog says that the storetargeted he and Watson because they're black, and that thepolice beat him as they dragged him from the mall. He is also planning tosue Macy's and the Braintree Police Department for discrimination. - Werner
