Just after the new year MCA Records will release a collection of music for the film Half Baked that features some of today's hottest artists.|

The soundtrack features cuts from the likes of Luscious Jackson, Black Grape, Tricky, Cibo Matto and a host of others. The movie, which stars Dave Chappelle, Jim Breuer, Guillermo Diaz and Harland Williams, hits screens on Jan. 16. The comedy about a bunch of "herbologists" is complemented by an equally "high" roster of tunes like Rick James' "Mary Jane" sung by Coolio, the Tom Tom Club singing "Flyin'" and a version of Steppenwolf's "The Pusher" done by Cowboy Mouth.

Half Baked will hit stores around America on Jan. 13. (Ari Bendersky)
