The acoustic ramblings on this disc from Sebadoh's main man are so stark that it takes a while to notice that "Round-n-Round" is a cover of that Ratt song. But Emoh is full of quiet lyricism and Nick Drake beauty -- all that studio time may be bad for Barlow's girlfriend but good for us.
