(NEW YORK) - Live has commissioned rock artist David Fremont to design a limited-edition tour poster, with all proceeds from its sale to benefit charity. The six-color poster -- whose profits will go to AmFar (American Foundation for AIDS Research); the T.J. Martell Foundation for Cancer, Leukemia & AIDS Research; and the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York -- will only be sold during the band's current Secret Samadhi North American Tour, which kicked off July 25 in Hershey, Penn. Fremont, whose work is well-respected in rock circles, has designed posters for the Smashing Pumpkins, Beck, and Primus. Says Live guitarist Chad Taylor about the project: "We wanted to create something that would not only be a cool visual souvenir of the tour but one that would raise money for some good causes."
