(NEW YORK) - Radioactive band Live shares its
juice on its forthcoming North American outing, having invited
local unsigned bands to perform on a second stage at several of its
gigs. The band's Hershey, Pa., and Camden, N.J., dates-scheduled
for July 25 and Aug. 8, respectively-will feature 20-minute
performances by local acts before and after the set by opening act
Fun Lovin' Criminals. "There's a lot of great
music in people's own backyards and garages," says Live singer
Ed Kowalczyk. "These bands deserve a chance to be
heard by a bigger audience." Live will visit 53 cities before
wrapping up its tour in early October.
