Linda Thompson Gets Back on Stage

Folk singer comes back after a twenty-year break

After a seventeen-year absence from the recording world and a twenty-year absence from touring, Linda Thompson has returned in full force with Fashionably Late and dates behind it.

Thompson kicks off a sixteen-city tour on October 5th in Portland, Oregon supported by Jason Crigler on guitar and mandolin, and Martin Green, who will handle keyboards, accordion and percussion, and her son Teddy Thompson on guitar and vocals. Teddy is also one of the guests featured on Fashionably Late along with Rufus Wainwright, Kate Rusby, Eliza Carthy, Van Dyke Parks, and Danny Thompson (no relation).

Fashionably Late also features a reunion between Linda and ex-husband Richard Thompson on the lead track "Dear Mary," which was co-authored with Teddy.
