Promoter Michael Hosking told the Straight Times newspaper that the band would return to make up the dates once a greater sense of security had been established; the U.S. State Department recently issued warnings about possible terror activity.
A six-date tour of South Korea and Japan will not be affected. Those dates launch on December 11th in Seoul and run through a two-night stand in Osaka on December 17th and 18th.
In a milder act of aggression towards the SoCal rap-metal ensemble, frontman Fred Durst was hit in the face with an unidentified object during the band's November 21st show in New York City. The wound required seven stitches and Durst has placed video footage of his new scar on limpbizkit.com.
