Guitarist Wes Borland has rejoined Limp Bizkit for their first album together in five years. It's nothing for either party to celebrate -- it just means the Bizkit punted their search for a new guitarist, while Borland piddled away his chance to develop his supposed avant-garde ambitions on the solo level. So if you still get hot over 1998-vintage rap metal, you may have nostalgic hopes for Unquestionable Truth, though it's just twenty-nine minutes. But, surprisingly, it's an all-out imitation of Rage Against the Machine. Fred Durst redesigns his flow as a blatant replica of Zack de la Rocha ("I see someone in rage/ Killing Dimebag onstage/What the fuck is this?"), while Borland imitates Tom Morello. But Durst gossip mavens, take note: "The Key" samples the old Cole Porter tune "I Love Paris."
