The rapper, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, was acquitted of obstruction of justice. Lil' Kim's assistant was also convicted on the two charges. Both face up to twenty years in prison. They will be sentenced on June 24th.
In her testimony, Lil' Kim, 29, said she did not see her manager Damion Butler and her friend Suif "Gutta" Jackson at the scene of the 2001 shootout. Both men have since pled guilty to gun charges.
As the verdict was read, both defendants shook their heads. Lil Kim offered no comment.
