Chingy laces up, Kim's manager fesses up

CHINGY will perform during the Lingerie Bowl, a February 6th pay-per-view event in which scantily clad women do battle on the gridiron . . . LIL' KIM'S manager Damion Butler pled guilty Friday to firing a gun "with the intent of hurting someone" after a Hot 97 radio station appearance in 2001. Kim's trial for the same incident, for which she's charged with conspiracy, perjury and obstruction of justice, is set for February 28th . . . British rockers ASH will launch a U.S. tour with the BRAVERY in Philadelphia on March 9th, a day after they release their new CD, Meltdown . . . TRACY BONHAM will release her new album, Blink the Brightest, on May 10th . . .

The ROOTS' RAHZEL, DOUG E. FRESH and PETE ROCK will perform at the Rap for Relief concert to benefit tsunami relief on February 22nd at New York's B.B. King Blues Club . . . German metal band DANZIG kick off their U.S. tour in support of their new album, Circle of Snakes, on February 18th in St. Louis, wrapping up March 15th in Anaheim, California. The group is also at work on a follow-up to 1993's Black Aria, Black Aria II, due this summer . . . SUGARCULT and HEAD AUTOMATICA are headlining the Sub City Take Action Tour kicking off February 2nd in Washington, D.C. The Take Action organization helps educate young people about depression and suicide . . .
