Album Reviews
Another entry in the glut of tributes to the late guitar guru is this love letter heavy on both legitimacy and star power (Santana, Prince, Eric Clapton) but light on ideas. Musiq and Sting prove that it can be downright embarrassing to imitate the master. Only Chaka Khan, on "Little Wing," matches Hendrix's fire while still sounding like her soulful self.
