Blues Buddies Taylor And Brooks Hit Big Screen

(NASHVILLE) - Alligator Records labelmates Koko Taylor and Lonnie Brooks hit the big screen with appearances in two upcoming motion pictures. Taylor will be featured in the Bruce Willis film "Simon" singing Willie Dixon's classic "Evil" with an all-star band, which includes Magic Slim, Carey Bell, John Primer, Willie "Big Eyes" Smith and Bob Stroger. And Brooks, along with Junior Wells, will appear in the "Blues Brothers" sequel titled "Blues Brothers 2000." Brooks and Taylor will also have music on the accompanying soundtrack albums. Taylor previously appeared in David Lynch's "Wild at Heart."
