Album Reviews

Locke's big voice rips on the otherwise awkward up-tempo rock track "Wrong," as well as her Idol-riffic rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." But except for the duet "Without You," on which Clay Aiken out-pipes his roomie, the rest of One Love is middlebrow schlock -- all ballads and light romantic ditties. And the best lyric Locke gets is telling an ex that their love "coulda been the best thing since high school."
