Notice that Kenickie didn't play their gig at the Intel New York Music Festival last week that would've marked the start of their first U.S. tour? That's because they weren't there. Apparently doctors ordered lead singer Lauren Laverne to stay in bed and rest for a full month just before the teenage Brit band was to head to the States. No word on what Laverne's illness is or when the band will tour again, but stay tuned to JAMTV to find out, 'cause when we know ... you'll know. (AB)
