Beyonce: "Listen" [Listen]
Beyonce tore up the Grammys with her rendition of this Oscar-nominated tune from the Dreamgirls soundtrack. "Her vocal performance is amazing," says McPhee. "It's about growing and learning things very quickly, and it resonated with me."

Justin Timberlake: "SexyBack" [Listen]
"One of my favorite records of the year," says McPhee, whose album features tracks by the song's co-producer, Nate Hills. "It's not that the lyrics are all that brilliant, but I love the vibe, I love the beat. It makes you feel sexy."

Jane Monheit: "A Case of You" [Listen]
McPhee has never heard Joni Mitchell's original, but she can't get enough of Monheit's jazzy take: " 'I could drink a case of you, and I would still be on my feet' -- I'm a romantic at heart, so I love that kind of stuff."

Sheryl Crow: "Strong Enough" [Listen]
"This is an older one," McPhee says of the ballad from Crow's 1993 debut, Tuesday Night Music Club. "It's a sweet, simple song, and it reminds me of a specific boy I was into."

Fergie: "Fergalicious"
McPhee has a soft spot for the hit single from The Dutchess: "I love when she starts doing the quick-rap thing -- 'Hit it, Fergie!' "
