Album Reviews
The late Crickets leader Buddy Holly exemplified an early rock & roll spirit that comes across easy and free-spirited but proves difficult to replicate, even when his band's surviving members team up with Eric Clapton, Graham Nash and Waylon Jennings. There ought to be a law against bad cover versions of "I Fought the Law," especially by Motley Crue's Vince Neil.
