(LOS ANGELES) - A small claims court action between musician John Lydon and the former drummer for his band, Robert Williams, will be heard on the syndicated television series "Judge Judy" during the November sweeps, sources said.| Williams, a paid musician employed by Lydon for his most recent tour, filed suit against the former Sex Pistols vocalist widely known as "Johnny Rotten".

Williams alleges he lost wages due to breach of contract and is claiming civil battery over an incident that occurred when he and Lydon parted company. Williams filed suit in September in Beverly Hills Court and is asking for $5,000 in lost wages, sources said. Lydon, however, claims Williams quit his band four days prior to the commencement of the most recent tour.

In related news, Lydon has parted company with Virgin Records. The split came after Lydon's solo debut, Psycho's Path," failed to chart. According to Lydon's manager, Eric Gardner, many of the singer's supporters have left the label. Under the terms of the split, Ken Berry, president of EMI Recorded Music and chairman of the Virgin Music Group Worldwide, has agreed to give Lydon the rights to Psycho's Path, under what Gardner calls "favorable terms."
