Posted Oct 31, 1997 12:00 AM

Singer/songwriter John Hiatt will hit the road on Saturday. Hiatt is back on tour to support his latest Capitol Records release, Little Head.|

Hiatt has been making soothing yet captivating music since the mid-'70s. His career has taken him from writing tunes for the likes of Three Dog Night and Conway Twitty to being covered by some of music's greats, including Bob Dylan.

Hiatt kicks off the tour in Norfolk, Va., at the Boathouse and will remain out on the road until Nov. 20 when he plays a gig at Mississippi Nights in St. Louis. (Ari Bendersky)
