Hiatt has been making soothing yet captivating music since the
mid-'70s. His career has taken him from writing tunes for the likes
of Three Dog Night and Conway
Twitty to being covered by some of music's greats,
including Bob Dylan.
Hiatt kicks off the tour in Norfolk, Va., at the Boathouse and will remain out on the road until Nov. 20 when he plays a gig at Mississippi Nights in St. Louis. (Ari Bendersky)
