Album Reviews
These live tapes date from the late Sixties, when the folk-blues guitarist was at the height of his alchemical powers. Fahey's fingerpicking is a miracle orchestra of melody and filigree, and his sublime distention of traditional forms blooms in original fantasias such as the oddly named title piece, which ebbs and races like a high-tide parade of sunlit Pacific waves.
