In the true spirit of Christmas, Joan Osborne, Aaron Neville, Suzanne Vega and a host of others have donated tracks to a special compilation benefiting Phoenix House.|

Originally released on Sept. 24 in conjunction with the drug treatment center's 30th Anniversary fundraising event, A Home For The Holidays features artists' renditions of popular Christmas songs like "Silent Night" and "O Come All Ye Faithful" as well as 10 previously unreleased tracks.

"Part of the message of Phoenix House is diversity, and that is reflected in the music on this album," said Mark Fine, senior vice president of A&R for PolyMedia. "Our goal is to reach a broad spectrum of people with this collection, yet remain sonically cohesive."

Proceeds from the project will benefit the drug prevention and treatment activities of Phoenix House. "Having closely seen the effects of drug abuse and the inevitable destruction that accompanies alcohol and drug addiction," said singer Brain McKnight, "I was more than happy to be involved with this project."
