Grammy nominated R&B artist Jill Scott will begin touring this June in support of her platinum-selling debut album, Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1.

Scott strikes out on her own Live Soul tour following an opening slot on Sting's recent North American tour. Back-to-back shows on July 17th and 18th in Chicago will kick off the tour proper, after Scott makes a few late June/early July festival appearances.

Scott is also scheduled to appear at Michael Jackson's star-studded New York concert on September 7th, alongside Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, 'N Sync and others.
