Posted Nov 06, 2001 12:00 AM

Jill Scott will release a double album, Experience: Jill Scott (826 Plus), on November 20th. The first disc consists of eleven songs recorded on August 26th in Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., where Scott was on tour promoting her platinum debut album, Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Volume 1.

The second CD features nine tracks, with guest appearances by Common and 4 Hero. Scott will release an up-tempo live version of her hit "He Loves Me" as the album's first single.

Scott will make a number of television appearances between now and the end of the year. Tonight she will join Musiq Soulchild, Brian McKnight and others in honoring Patti LaBelle in a BET Walk of Fame Special. Scott also appeared at September Michael Jackson tribute concert, which will air later this year. And in December she will do a Sesame Street guest spot, as well as contributing a rendition of "Summertime" to TNT's upcoming special, "Broadway's Best 2001."
