(LONDON) - U.K. modern rock act Jesus Jones has inked a U.S. recording pact with indie startup label Combustion Records, founded by former SBK/EMI VP of A&R Mike Mena.|

While signed to EMI, the band achieved platinum U.S. sales with its 1991 SBK album Doubt and a No. 2 single with "Right Here, Right Now." Combustion will release the band's album Already on April 21 in the U.S., preceded March 23 by the single "The Next Big Thing."

Already was released last year in the U.K. by Food/EMI Records U.K., which has since dropped the band; front man Mike Edwards has been signed by EMI U.K. as a solo artist. Combustion is distributed in the U.S. by Koch International.
