People of the Year: Jennifer Lopez

She started 2001 with a breakup and ended it with a honeymoon

Not content with a Number One movie, The Wedding Planner, the 2 million sold of her second album, J. Lo, the launch of her clothing line and her marriage to her dancer Cris Judd, Jennifer Lopez has a hectic 2002 planned: She'll have three films and is well on her way to a new album. No wonder she's clinging to the last bits of her honeymoon.

Big ups on the nups. How's the honeymoon?

We went to Milan for a while and to Mexico for a while; now we're down in Miami. But my honeymoon is over in a day or two. I'm trying to hang on to the last little piece. Mexico was beautiful. We were in the middle of nowhere. We intend to go there again, so I can't give you the exact longitude and latitude.

Did you have a favorite album this year?

Craig David, Born to Do It, but the English version. The version they released in the States isn't as hot. The original was his whole layout, his whole plan. It was hot. It was the soundtrack to our lives this year.

What about 2002?

We've got a big year ahead of us. My clothing line is going good; I was just in a meeting about that. I have three movies, and in between I'll always be working on music. I wrote a new song a couple of days ago, for a movie that I'm doing called Enough that comes out in May. I've been inspired to write on my honeymoon.

So you're booked through this time next year.

Yes, call me next November, all right?
