Late Wednesday night, December 1, at the Manhattan nightclub, The Kit Kat Club, during the release party for Q-Tip's Amplified, Untertainment Music CEO Lance "Un" Rivera was stabbed| in the back and chest by an unknown assailant.

According to MTV.com, Manhattan police are seeking Jay-Z, who performed at the club that evening, as well as a number of other unnamed individuals, for questioning. The police went on to say that a second victim was punched in the face, that they're looking for two suspects in their mid-twenties, and that they're treating the investigation as a case of second-degree assault.

Rivera was taken to New York's St. Vincent Hospital immediately after the incident and is now in stable condition.
