Posted Sep 26, 1997 12:00 AM

Although it's still uncertain whether or not Jamiroquai will headline an 18-day music festival outside London's Battersea Power Station, the pop funk group is planning on playing a few dates in the States. |

The MTV Video Music Award winners land in Philadelphia Sept. 29 at the Electric Factory and then move to the Big Apple to play one night, Sept. 30, at the Paramount Theater. Jamiroquai will then make its way down the eastern seaboard to the nation's capital on Oct. 2 for a show at the Patriot Center before heading to the capital of the New South - Atlanta. In Atlanta, the band hits the International Ballroom on Oct. 4 and then will head to sunny Miami on Oct. 6 for a gig at the Sunrise Theater. (Ari Bendersky)
