Biography

Singer/songwriter Jackson Browne's introverted, finely observed songs made him one of the most influential West Coast songwriters. Browne's first songs infused domestic sagas with a sense of romantic doom, making lovers into heroes. In the '80s Browne focused more sharply on the sociopolitical, but in 1993 returned to more personal themes with I'm Alive.
