Norah Jones, K's Choice, Danielle Howle pegged to open

The Indigo Girls will tour in support of their latest album, Become You, beginning May 27th in Portsmouth, Virginia. So far thirty dates have been confirmed, but more shows are expected to be announced.

In March the Girls released Become You, a return to roots for the folk duo. "I wanted to get back to basics and make an acoustic record," said Amy Ray of the set, her eighth with co-principal Emily Sailers. "I wasn't even thinking about drums. I was thinking, 'Let's make arrangements that work with a lot of guitar interplay and vocal interplay that really work in an acoustic way.'"

Belgian quintet K's Choice, whose double-disc Almost Happy is scheduled for release next week, and indie-folk singer-songwriter Danielle Howle, signed to Ray's Daemon Records, will trade off opening duties for all dates through June 15th. Singer-pianist Norah Jones, whose debut Come Away With Me has earned considerable critical praise, will then take over the opening spot for at least four shows, from June 26th to 29th.
