Sheryl, Me'Shell and Schellenbach, oh my! Those guests, plus a smattering of others, will all appear on the forthcoming, still-untitled Indigo Girls album, due out Sept. 21. According to manager Russell Carter, Sheryl Crow adds vocals to three new Indigo Girls songs, "Gone Again," "Cold Beer and Remote Control," while Luscious Jackson drummer Kate Schellenbach and Me'Shell Ndegeocello contribute to "We Are Together" and "Compromise."

Other guests on the record include fellow Lilith chick Joan Osborne on "Trouble" and "Peace Tonight," with the Band organist Garth Hudson, Sinead O'Connor contributor Claire Kenny and Transglobal Underground's Natacha Atlas.

The album, which was produced entirely by John Reynolds (Sinead O'Connor, Adam Ant), will hit stores before the duo is slated to begin a U.S. tour that launches in the Southeast.
