Despite her success, Arie hasn't altered her approach. "I haven't had to change anything about my creative process or why I'm making music or the messages I'm putting in my songs," she said. "I can still be me. 'Little Things' [the album's first single] is a blatant, put-out-there-in-plain-colors example of how I use music. I use music because it's therapeutic to me."
Slum Village, Floetry and K-OS will open for Arie on the tour.
